How To Connect My Domain to my Website Hosting

In order to use our website hosting, you need to make sure you point your domain to our servers. This can be done in one of two ways, either by changing your name servers (recommended) or by adding a TXT record to your domain (not recommended).

How to set your Nameservers

This way is the reccommened way, as then you can utilize our included email services and free SSL certificate.

  1. Go to the website where you registered you purchased/registered your domain name (ie. GoDaddy, 1&1, HostGator, etc..) and sign into your account
  2. Go to your domain and update your namesevers. For each domain registrar this will be a bit different. Contact your domain registrar for support with finding how to do that if you are unsure.
  3. Update the nameservers keeping them in the same order, to the following:
    • ns1.nesswebsolutions.com
    • ns2.nesswebsolutions.com
  4. Wait between 4 hours to 72 hours before your domain will connect to our website hosting. If after 24 hours it isn't showing any website, contact us, so we can double check to ensure everything is set up properly.

How to Setup a TXT record

This way is NOT recommended, because you cannot use our email services, or get a free SSL certificate. Please contact us if you plan to connect to our websit hosting this way.

  1. Go to where your website DNS settings are managed, typically either your domain registrar, such as GoDaddy or 1&1, or your primary website hosting company
  2. Add a TXT Record of the following:
    • Zone Name: The domain used for website hosting
    • TTL: 300 or minimum allowed
    • Type: TXT
    • Value or IPv4 Address: 209.59.158.96
  3. Wait between 4 hours to 72 hours before your domain will connect to our website hosting. If after 24 hours it isn't showing any website, contact us, so we can double check to ensure everything is set up properly.
