Sometimes certain emails you receive may be marked as a false positive for spam, and in reality may not actually be spam. With just a few quick steps you can release the messages from being held as spam.
This is only for our Email Threat Protection/Advanced Email Threat Protection customers.
If you have received emails that are considered as spam, you will receive an email with the subject of "Daily Quarantined Message Report" from the email address "support@nesswebsolutions.com".
To release the message from spam or review it follow the steps below
- From within the Daily Quarantined Message Report email, click on View next to the email you want to look
- Now you are inside the Email Threat Protection portal. You can now securely look at the email to detirmine if it is spam or not. Scroll down on the page to view the email. By default images and links are disabled, but you can click on Display blocked content, located on the right side of the screen, to view images and links.
- Once you detirmine if it is spam or not, scroll to the top and:
- If it is not spam, click on the green Release button
- If it is spam, and you want it deleted, click on the red Delete button
- If you clicked Release, you will see a message like this, and your message should be sent to your inbox within a couple of minutes.
- Addtionally, if you know this sender will never be considered spam, you can request for us to Whitelist this email address or the entire domain, or both. If the email address is a free email address such as Gmail, Outlook/Hotmail, Yahoo, etc., we will not whitelist the entire domain.
- If you want to have this email address whitelisted, so it is never considered spam, check the from box
- If you want to have this entire domain whitelisted, so all emails from this domain, reguardless of the individual mailbox, will never be considered spam.
Please note, if the email address is a free email address from such places as Gmail, Outlook/Hotmail, Yahoo, or somewhere else, we will not whitelist the entire domain.
- After making your selection, click on the green Submit Request to administrator button. After you click the submit the request you will receive a message saying it has been sent to us, the Administrator. We will review it and let you know when the request is completed, or if it cannot be completed, why it can't be.
